Vishvas organized a Workshop on Experience Sharing of Women SHG’s entitled “Mera Kushal-Meri Pehchan” in collaboration with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. & Security and Intelligence Services(SIS)-India Ltd.
The overall objective of this workshop was to improve the quality and relevance of skill development training and the number of certified skilled workers in various sectors of existing employed persons; especially in the context of Women through understanding of sectoral and geographical spread of existing skill requirement.
There was active participation for Workshop from Udaipur, Rajsamand & Bhilwara District’s of SHGs office bearers/members formed by Vishvas along with representatives from Government Nodal Department, Banks, NGOs, Academic & Research Institution, Industry & other relevant stakeholders associated with the textile sector.
The resource person for this workshop were:-
-Mr. R.K. Agarwal; District Project Manager- Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad.
-Mr.T.S. Marwah; General Manager (Retd.)- Department of Industries (Government of Rajasthan).
-Mr. Vishnu Kumar Gautam; Rajasthan State Program Manager-All India Artisan & Craft-workers Welfare Association (AIACA).
The workshop started with registration of participants, followed by welcome address by Director (Projects) Vishvas Mr. Shekhar Kumar, address by resourced persons, SHG Program Team and experience shared by SHGs office bearers/ members.
The workshop concluded with a cultural evening with performances by renowned dance artists from Nrityabhinaya & ghazal singer Mr. Prem Bhandari. Nrityabhinaya is a leading institute headed by Ms. Kabita Mohanty (Founder Director) committed to the cause of promotion, propagation, and practice of Indian Classical Dance, Music and Folk Dance forms in the country
Esteemed dignitaries with valued staff members also graced this occasion.
