To contribute in national endeavor 'Digital India programme' a flagship programme of the Government of India with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy, Vishvas organized one day workshop for tribal artisans “Digishala” in collaboration with Rural Non Farm Development (RUDA)- A Government of Rajasthan Enterprise.

The objective of this workshop is to generate awareness about digital platforms & its benefits amongst tribal & rural artisans. As lack of awareness of digital financial literacy and services, especially among the rural- tribal artisans is a challenge in the country, more so in light of the Government’s recent development in the digital sector.

There was active participation for Workshop from Udaipur & Rajsamand rural artisans along with representatives from Government Nodal Department, Banks & other relevant stakeholders associated with the sector.

Various awareness sessions on e-marketing and cashless transaction options available for rural citizens were organized as well as enabling various mechanisms for same by resource person from Bank of Baroda, IIM University; Udaipur and repudiated marketing agency.

Mr. Hansraj Choudhary; Chairmen- Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry with other esteemed dignitaries with valued staff members graced the situation.

The workshop started with registration of participants, followed by welcome address by Director (Projects) Vishvas Mr. Shekhar Kumar, addresses by resource persons.
